Female driver

Men are irritated with the fact that women occupy all those spheres that used to be for men only and they are not pleased with this fact and they would like things go back to common again. Though, life never stops and so things will never be the same and there are a lot of women among men and that is the main reason for a number of stereotypes to appear. And those stories about the female driver are the result of it. Men say that female driver s a disaster and they know nothing about rules and about how to drive a car. Though, it is just a stereotype and it has nothing to do with the real state of things. Actually, statistics says that most of car incidents happen because of men. Women are more careful when driving. They are mothers and they have people to care about and it is an instinct of women, and they have no problems with those who are faster than they are or something they have no challenge spirit and so they never undergo a risk in case there is no point in it and that is why they are sometimes even better drivers than men.

Old age is wise

Stereotypes are like formulas for this life. People make those and they believe those and they follow those. But, people never think about the nature if those stereotypes, they never think of there is a ground for those they just believe in those. But, there are mistakes as for stereotypes and those mistakes make people believe the wrong things. One of such stereotypes is about the old age. People say that those of old age are wise people and they know a lot. Sure, those who have the whole life behind them are people of great and precious experience but that experience may be recognized as wisdom only in case a person is smart and intelligent. If there is some guy who is far from being recognized as smart then he will remain so till the end of his life. And so, when this guy is old he is just the same fool he were, it’s just he is an old fool now. So, it is brain that makes us wise and that helps us gain wisdom but it is not the old age that makes people wise. Wise people may be young people in case they really learn of their mistakes.

The stereotypes that tattoos accompany

Tattoos in general have a bad reputation and accompany many stereotypes. A couple of years back tattoos where very taboo and only for druggies and junkies. Today tattoos have become a bit more acceptable due to the fact that almost everyone is getting them. It was roughly in the 90’s that tattoos started surfacing on regular folk. Mostly by young people, it started becoming cool to have a butterfly on your ankle or a small star on your arm. It was important that it was a tiny piece of artwork because it still had to be hidden from parents and teachers. Now, tattoos are bigger and more creative. The most popular place being on the lower back on girls, the idea now is to have it exposed.

Although tattoos have come along way, there are still many stereotypes around it, the first being that people with tattoos are wild and reckless. Only criminals and bikers have tattoos. This is untrue. Almost half the population have tattoos. Whether minute or huge, they are spread across all genders and cultures. People also say that people with tattoos never get jobs. This is completely untrue as some of the most respected professionals such as lawyers and doctors have tattoos.

The next stereotype is that women with tattoos are tramps. Quite frankly a tattoo does not make you a tramp it is the behaviour that follows.

None of the stereotypes that accompany tattoos are true and it is time society readjusts their thinking to making tattoos more acceptable.

Unordinary Stereotypes

Gay stereotypes are laughable, but we cling to them like they were the most intimate we could ever get without actually having to…know one. So many people still believe that the gay stereotypes that were set in motion back in the fifties are accurate. There’s the lovely stereotype that gay people like to recruit. Recruit what? Children are on the list of pedophiles, not the homosexual community. There is a difference between the two. There is no truth to the gay stereotype that indicates one half of the couple assumes a make role while the other assumes a female role, for either gender. In fact there are plenty of times when you can’t tell the difference between two friends and a gay couple who are out at a restaurant, and yet the stereotypes continue.

This sector of our society has been the latest to absorb the heat from those who want to keep the United States in the dark ages. We have run out of races to persecute so it is time to move on to the gay community. So we throw down our bibles in some righteous manner, we determine things we don’t even know for sure about their bedroom practices, and then we scream about how they are some sort of abomination. We must have been sleeping in history class when we were told about the human rights suffrage. Women were victims of the same type of prejudice, as were just about every race who ever migrated to the United States, especially Muslims as of late. Now it the homosexual community’s turn to defy stereotypes one neighbor at a time, one moment at a time, and one peaceful march at a time.
